This week's inspiration comes from Designer "Deanne" and is creating a Christmas card using "the inspiration photo" shown above.   For more inspirational cards go to
Merry Monday #232

When I saw this photo, I immediately thought of a nice cup of steaming hot chocolate!   And thought of what JOY it would be to have a cup.   My card also has three little gingerbread cookies as well.  I mean, you can't have hot chocolate without cookies, can you?  LOL
I used some dsp that is still my favorite along with some greys, and of course Whisper White.  Threw in a little spoon to add to the delight of stirring my hot chocolate.

So, as you can see, a pretty tasty looking cup of hot chocolate!

Watercooler Wednesday

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to another exciting card making
Challenge!   Our Team Artist for this week's challenge is Gail.   Her challenge is  WWC103 at Watercooler Wednesday.   So check out the Sketch below and the samples created by the Watercooler Artists and be inspired by all the lovely Masculine cards they have made.

My card is totally Masculine.   I made a gate and then figured out how to make hinges and a gate-latch.   My inspiration came from Pinterest and Rose Packer.   For her card she used "Nailed It' stamp and die cut.  I do not have this Bundle yet, but it is on my Wish List for February.  "Many Thanks Rose,"  for this card inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Soft Suede
Inks:  Tip Top Taupe, Black, Soft Suede
Stamp Sets:  Hardwood, Stylized Birthday, Dragonfly Dreams
Misc.: Let's Tool Around (Die-namics), Mini Tag Punch, Scalloped Punch, Bunch of Banners, 5/16" & 1/2" Hole punch, Dauber's, Glue Dots, Silver Paper, Bone Folder

A lot of "fussy cutting" for gate latch and hinges.  I even used my bone folder to put a crease in the screw for the hinges.  Used my dobber and added different shades of brown all over the gate panels.

So look over the other samples created by the Watercooler Artists, make your card, and then link your card to WWC103 Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  Have fun and Good Luck!

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge WWC 101 - Jean's Color Challenge

Very nice color combination to start the first Challenge of the year!  My Challenge card this week uses the three colors and the  neutral used is Very Vanilla.   I was very excited to use some of the new products from the Spring Catalogue - Occasions.   Starting with the Fallen Petals E.F. on that beautiful Sweet Sugarplum and then going on to use the Dragonfly Thinlits Dies in Bermuda Bay.   I then added a sweet little bee on So Saffron, and my card was finished.  The die cuts are fantastic - I just love them.

Merry Monday #229 (Angels)

My first Christmas card for this year!   I made over 50 cards last year and a lot were one of a kind.   This is a great way to do a card a week and then have a good supply when it is time to send them to your friends and relatives.  They love them and especially when they are made from the Heart!

Angels!   What a challenge!   I had no stamps or die cuts, so went rummaging around in my Christmas card fronts that I recycle and I found a sweet little Angel!  The card is very Vintage and my sweet little Angel is offering Peace and Joy to all.
