WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGES WWC 93

Watercooler Challenges WWC 93 - Deborah's Color Challenge
http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.ca/

Welcome to another challenge with our Watercooler Artists.  This week it's a terrific Color Challenge hosted by Deborah Smart.  The colours are perfect for those Christmas cards which everyone is starting to create:  Whisper White, Real Red, Soft Suede, Old Olive and Basic Black.

Sheri Lee is a Guest designer for this week's challenge, and I hope you visit her site to see her beautiful card and the color challenges.  Loved your Penguin, Sheri!

Deborah, these are such beautiful color choices for a Christmas card.  Today, I am using a stamp set "Banners for Christmas", and  the "Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  I loved the Christmas card using the stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue, and thought I would try my version of it.   A fair amount of watercoloring, but worth it.

I really love the Bunch of Banners Dies.  They really make a nice presentation on cards.   Enjoy your week...until next time  Heather :)

  1. Oh my goodness, Heather, where to begin... This is a "wow" card. Yes, the watercolouring was worth every minute because that frame of greenery and berries you've created is fabulous. And let's not forget the beautiful centrepiece, the banner itself. There is not one thing I would change, Heather. From the wonderful outside to the nicely detailed inside, this card is perfect. Thanks for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  6. Great card Heather. I like that you used the picture on page 10 of the catalogue for your inspiration and then made it your own with your colour change up. This is a great way to get the fun and experience of a stamp and framelet set. Well done.
