Watercooler Challenges WWC61 - Anything Goes!

My card for "Anything Goes" is a recent one that I made for my Mom.  Her birthday is next week and loves flowers, so I used the fabulous "Paisley Petals" dsp, which was out a few years ago.  My inspiration comes from Deborah Smart's blog a couple of days ago.  She made a "Collar Fold" card and I loved her card and design.  I fussy cut the flower from the dsp, added gold around the flower petals and on the vanilla flower.

WWC60 - Marsha's CAS Birthday Challenge

The challenge this week is CAS which means clean and simple!  It is a fast card to make for any occasion and always look nice.
I thought I would use "Sahara Sand" as my white space and with that beautiful "Rose Garden Thinlits" to fill in the area keeps it clean and simple.

Watercooler Wednesday WWC59 - Bev's Color Challenge in Green

Well, even though St Patrick's day is behind us...."Top of the Morning to you."  What a neat card to make!  I have never made a St Paddys card before, so this was a good challenge!   I used the Owl punch and a hat die cut and Whalla, I made a little St Paddy's Owl.  The shamrock flag was a mixture of hearts and a sequin and the stem from the bird builder's punch.  As you can tell he has a big heart and love's being Irish.  Also, check out his Green Eyes.  LOL!

Take a look:

WWC58 - Gail's Reflection Technique Challenge

What a wonderful challenge!  I brought out my Stamp-a-ma-jig and dusted it off because I thought that this would be a good tool to line up the stamped image with the reflection.  It worked perfectly for me.  I used several colors for the sky, grass/mud, and water.

WWC57 - Deborah's Sketch Challenge

Good challenge Deborah!  I had to get my thinking cap on for colors and what my image was going to be.  Love the design by the way.  I embossed my three strips to give a little more depth to the card and used my bone folder on the flower petals and leaves for the same effect.  There is no sentiment on the front so the card could be used for any occasion, and added a beautiful sentiment inside.

Merry Monday #194 (Tropical)

Well, this was a real challenge!   I could not find anything in my stash with a Palm tree or a beach scene.  So, I decided to improvise with what I had.  I made a sunny sky out of beautiful dsp (Perfectly Artistic), then used a die cut of water, made a sandy beach with a Snowman (The snowman would be made of sand and water in the Tropics), added a beach umbrella and a turtle sunbathing.
Hope you like it!
