WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGES WWC 48 - HONORABLE MENTION

WWC48 - Heidi's "Anything goes -- with Snow"

http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.ca/

Thank you again Ladies for the Honorable Mention for this challenge.  I really appreciate the inspiration and the wonderful comments you leave me.  Again, I proudly display the Badge.

Goodbye to Buffy and Susan our talented Watercooler Artists.  Your cards were beautiful and full of inspiration.  We will miss you both in the challenges.

I thought I would make a card with snowflakes.  This card is a little different as I used a circle punch on each upper corner.  It is a vertical card with a ribbon on top.  My camera is not that great, but hopefully you can see the design on top.   I also used some recycled acetate from an old Christmas card.  It had a couple of snowflakes on it, and I added some more.

The white frame is mounted on Night of Navy card stock.

An inside look:

Supplies:

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink:   Tip Top Taupe
Stamp Set:  More Merry Messages
Misc:  Corner punch, MB Beloved Snowflakes & Snowflake corner, silver ribbon, acetate paper, retired dsp

Happy Holidays!  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Happy stamping!   Heather :)

  1. Hi Heather, you never fail to interpret our challenge in your own stunning way. I love the colours you've used and the way you've recycled the acetate and added more snowflakes. That white frame just pops and the way your card opens with the corner cut-outs really adds a lot of interest. It's such a nice touch, finishing up your card by adding more interest to the inside as well. Thanks so much for joining us for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  2. Heather, such pretty snow flakes! You like the way you've layered different media, to build the snowflake concept. I really appreciate the recycling, too. Thank you so much for joining our Watercooler Challenge.

  3. Love the white and navy colour combo as it makes the snowflakes just *pop*. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and all the BEST for 2016. Cheers.
