WWC 42 - Bev's Photo Inspiration Challenge

Wow, this challenge took a lot of thought.  There were so many shapes, colors and individual objects to work into a card.  My inspiration came mostly from the picture hanging on the wall.  In my imagination I could see someone flying a kite in a beautiful blue sky with lots of clouds.  My card has the clouds, house windows representing the shapes on the couch and the column lamps, a silver butterfly kite and some lamp posts representing the ceiling fixture.  I also used five colors: black, blue, white, green and pink on the doors.

Inside card:

Cardstock:  Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Silver Foil
Ink:  Basic Black, Lucky Limeade, Blushing Bride Marker
Stamp Sets:  Holiday Home, Moving Forward, Funny Bones Sentiment
Misc:  Cloudy Day E.F., Holiday Home Die Cut, Embossits Beautiful Wings

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week and Happy Carding!
Heather :)

  1. Hi Heather, love the card! I had considered using the clouds in the large picture and then went along another tangent. It's great to see that they "spoke" to someone else. Adding the images and colour to the inside of the card as well really makes it special. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.

  2. What a great interpretation of this inspiration challenge Heather. Love the butterfly kite and how you used the lamp posts in your design. An awesome and fun card!
